In-house training
Any Thomas Telford course can be run at your premises as an in-house event for your staff in the UK or internationally. We can provide not only our publicly available courses but also training on a wide range of topics relevant to the civil engineering and construction industries.
There are many reasons to consider the in-house training option. You may require:
- Learning tailored to your organisation’s needs
- Training within a confidential environment that enables the free discussion of competitive issues and challenges
- Opportunities to enhance team working;
- Learning that is wholly integrated with your organisation’s goals and strategies;
- Added value above and beyond the capability of any public training course;
Take a look at some of our client case studies to see real life examples of our in-house training in practice.
In-house training from Thomas Telford provides you with a solution delivering value, flexibility and guaranteed quality.
In-house training can make your budget go further. Thomas Telford Training prices in-house training on a per-day basis. This means that if you have six or more course delegates you will normally save money when compared to any equivalent publicly scheduled courses. The more delegates you have the greater the saving. Add to this the savings in staff time, travel and accommodation and the value of the in-house option is crystal clear.
You can customise any element of Thomas Telford Training courses including the format, content, duration and timing. All Thomas Telford Training courses are available in ‘off the peg’, ‘tailored’ or bespoke versions.
Off the peg
Our course tutor will deliver the course exactly as it is delivered within our public training course schedule. We simply need to agree dates and venues with you and the course can be delivered to your staff, a truly ready-made solution.
Tailored
Tailored courses better reflect the needs of your organisation. We use the term tailored to reflect changes to the delivery style, for example, more emphasis may be placed upon certain components of the course and the timetable may be adjusted to facilitate these changes. Whenever a course is tailored, we will put you in direct contact with our tutors so that you can fully brief them with your requirements in advance of your training event.
Bespoke
Courses may be bespoke in many ways but will always include modifications to the standard course materials. Sessions may be built to order or even researched and developed from scratch in order to meet your precise requirements. Many clients will choose to add sessions delivered by members of their own staff to promote key corporate messages.
Thomas Telford Training services are ISO9001:2000 certified. As soon as you approach we will allocate an Account Manager to you, who is empowered to ensure that your event meets your expectations. Quality is carefully monitored throughout the in-house event process and your input is welcomed at any stage. After each event Thomas Telford Training will provide you with feedback from your delegates and our course tutor and discuss the outcome of the training with you.
