RWE npower - A Standard training solution case study
RWE npower, a division of the RWE Group, is a leading integrated UK energy company delivering service generation, asset management and supply to the UK energy market. RWE npower supplies gas and electricity through its retail business, npower and operates and manages a portfolio of flexible low-cost coal, oil and gas-fired power stations.
The Need
RWE npower identified a need for power station staff to be brought up to speed with the new CDM 2007 Regulations. They required a provider to deliver training nationwide at power stations throughout the UK and be able to modify its courses to incorporate RWE npower materials into the standard programmes.
The Solution
Thomas Telford Training delivered a successful training programme of 24 CDM 2007 events at multiple RWE npower locations. These programmes incorporated a bespoke RWE npower case study developed by Thomas Telford Training’s expert health & safety tutors.
To help RWE npower review from the effectiveness of the training programme, all the CDM 2007 courses included a multiple-choice examination with successful delegates receiving a certificate of achievement.
